Thomas Prescher Haute Horlogerie in Ipsach near Biel develops and builds exceptional, handmade unique pieces - watches of the highest perfection from A to Z.

Benefits
You will benefit from a 37.5-hour week with flextime and 25-day vacation. You will receive 14 times your salary and participate in our bonus system and other benefits. Part-time work is possible.
We support you in acquiring additional or missing qualifications with internal and external training programs. Interested young watchmaking students can also apply as trainees or interns.
Your contribution

Lead and accompany projects. Interact with suppliers and project managers. Start production.

Build entire watches from A to Z. Make and finish all parts of our tourbillons and other complications.

Assemble all parts and bring the watch to perfection.

Your profile

Completed watchmaking apprenticeship or training WOSTEP, KWCC and similar. Qualifications from private or commercial watchmaking schools are expressly accepted.

Degree as watch constructor e.g. college Grenchen or college Le Locle.

CAD knowledge in the field of watchmaking, preferably AutoCAD - Inventor.

CAD/CAM programming and user knowledge, e.g. EdgeCAM, Fusion, others.

Prototype construction.

Design of watches and watch parts.

You are fluent in English, German or French.
Advantageous for your application

You have at least initial experience in the production of watch parts using the artisanal method, e.g. construction of a school watch or restoration

In a nutshell
This role combines technical construction, project coordination, and hands-on haute horlogerie craftsmanship. You will contribute to the development of exceptional unique pieces, lead and accompany projects from concept to production, collaborate with suppliers and partners, and translate technical designs into fully realized timepieces. At the same time, you will remain closely involved in the workshop, building complete watches from A to Z, manufacturing and finishing components for tourbillons and other complications, assembling each part, and bringing every creation to perfection.

We are looking for a fully trained watchmaker with additional qualifications in watch construction or movement design, strong CAD/CAM skills, and the ability to work independently at the highest level. Fluency in English, German, or French is required.
