Benefits

We support you in acquiring additional or missing qualifications with internal and external training programs. Interested young watchmaking students can also apply as trainees or interns.
Your contribution

Lead and accompany the team. Interact with suppliers and project managers. Run production.

Build entire watches from A to Z. Make and finish all parts of our tourbillons and other complications.

Assemble all parts and bring the watch to perfection.

Your profile

Completed watchmaking apprenticeship or training WOSTEP, KWCC and similar. Qualifications from private or commercial watchmaking schools are expressly accepted.

You are fluent in English, German or French.

You have at least initial experience in the production of watch parts using the artisanal method, e.g. construction of a school watch or restoration

CAD knowledge in the field of watchmaking, preferably AutoCAD - Inventor

Thomas Prescher Haute Horlogerie in Ipsach near Biel is seeking a skilled watchmaker to take on the role of Head of Workshop. The company develops and builds exceptional, handmade unique timepieces of the highest perfection, crafted entirely in-house from A to Z. This position combines leadership, technical excellence, and hands-on craftsmanship at the highest level of independent haute horlogerie.​
As Head of Workshop, you will lead and support the team, coordinate with suppliers and project managers, and oversee production. At the same time, you will personally build complete watches from start to finish, manufacturing, finishing, and assembling complex components such as tourbillons and other complications, and bringing each timepiece to perfection. The role requires independent, high-grade work and active involvement in daily operations.
